Come On, Come On
I'm not sure what it says about me that I had to find out about the big Rescue Me debate by reading Gothamist. Probably that I have been working a lot, am behind online, and need tivo.

The Greatest Lost Track of all Time

Tomorrow night Chris Alonzo will be playing songs about dirty jokes at the Parkside Lounge. I'm probably going to have to work late, but I'm still going to be there, and you should be there too.

After that I might have to go see this 11 year old "young feminist phenomenon".

Eleven. I think I feel my quarter century* crisis kicking.

*Yeah, and I'm totally lying about my age.

I feel it is my duty to point all seven of you towards the Dewey Donation System.

Renegade
This weekend we went to the renegade craft fair near our apartment in Brooklyn. Not only was it evidently the place to see and be seen, but there were booths and booths of awesome bags and t-shirts, and gorgeous knit hats and scarves I couldn't bring myself to touch in the heat.

I was coveting these WWTWD t-shirts (Avail here!) and so much more. While looking for shade Eric and I confessed to each other our secret yearnings to design our own t-shirts.

Well, he did. My husband is a genius.

Come Pick Me Up
I have a new job. I don't know if that will decrease or increase posting frequency.

I worked on the pilot for this show quite a while ago and I'm excited to see it air in a few weeks on Showtime. (Do you recognize one of your favorite 'arry Potter villains?) I also worked on the pilot for this show that summer, and never caught a single episode. It's on the netflix.

I'm a bit late in pointing you to Michael Arthur's pretty new website. Recently Montblanc pens commissioned drawings from him, available to people who bought the Boheme line of pens. Yes, that is a pen covered in diamonds.

But the fun doesn't stop there! Because Michael and I were emailing about those two music blogs below and he said, "I'm about to change your life: http://hype.non-standard.net/".

Just now that link pointed me towards Kwaya Na Kisser and these Radiohead Covers.

Attention Music Lovers
Rbally is my new favorite blog. And if you love obscure covers as much as we do, check out My Old Kentucky Blog.

I'm so happy I feel like I just fell into a pot of gold after sliding down a rainbow on a glittery unicorn.
